The Ironbark Mine is a new underground metallurgical coal mine that will extend the life of Fitzroy Resources existing underground operations near Moranbah in Central Queensland.

Overview
PBE Group was appointed as Principal Contractor to Fitzroy Resources for the design, supply, construction, testing, commissioning and handover of the Main Mine Substation and Surface Reticulation. The Project required the establishment of new electrical supply infrastructure from Powerlink’s 132kV network on the surface of the mine for the underground longwall operation.
