PBE Rutherford were awarded a contract for the design, manufacture and installation of two new 66/11 kV Transportable Substations and an 11 kV Statvar Compensator for the Narrabri Mine Southern Extension Project in the North West of New South Wales, Australia. Narrabri Mine is an existing underground coal mine producing 11 million tonnes per annum of high quality thermal coal for the global export market. The Southern Extension Project will extend the life of the mine until 2044.
